Hurricanes and tropical storms that may affect your coverage
If a hurricane or tropical storm developed after you purchased your Travelex policy and the event was not reasonably expected when you bought your plan, your travel insurance may cover eligible losses.
Once a hurricane or tropical storm becomes a foreseeable event, however, new policies purchased for new claims related to that specific storm are no longer eligible for coverage.
You need to have purchased your policy before the storm becomes foreseeable and before a storm is named.
The storm alerts below show the date each storm became foreseeable. If your storm is listed, compare your policy purchase date with the foreseeable date to better understand your coverage.
Need help understanding your coverage? Our award-winning customer service team can help explain your benefits and how they may apply to your destination and the storm affecting your trip.
