Volcano alerts that may affect your travel insurance coverage
Recent volcanic eruptions can disrupt your travel plans and may affect your Travelex travel insurance coverage.
If a volcanic eruption occurs after you purchase your policy and the event was not foreseeable when you bought it, your travel insurance plan may cover eligible losses.
However, once a volcanic eruption becomes a foreseeable event, claims related to that eruption are no longer eligible for coverage.
The volcano alerts below show the date each event became foreseeable. To be eligible for coverage, you must have purchased your policy before that date.
